I wandered through Ponsonby today (more about my reason for that later [although, does one need a reason for wandering through Ponsonby, really?]) and I had to stop by magnation. Every time I walk past I end up walking in. And I end up buying at least one magazine.
And today I found the coolest, most beautiful and interesting magazine ever:

The best magazine EVER!
Doesn’t it just look awesome??? Wait till you have a peek inside:

Yoko Furusho
Unfortunately there is a slight problem. Apparently this magazine has been coming out for five year already and this is the last – the LAST! – issue! Being only biannual there are only ten issues in total so at least I haven’t missed, like, 20 issues or something, but still…

Sigh… I guess I’ll just have to really savour the issue I did manage to get my hands on and settle with the website for the future. http://www.ameliasmagazine.com/index.php
An extra treat was the bag kit you can see mentioned on the badge above. I haven’t sewn it together yet, but here is a taster of the fabric design:

Gorgeous isn’t it? And best of all, it’s Fairtrade – amazing! I’m so pleased with my little treasure I going to go and give it some attention right now!
This is such a cool shop! I just discovered it through Rachel Simonsen’s blog, and was instantly smitten. Take a look and you will be too! I wish I lived in the US sometimes…
Today, after a trip down to Waiuku to visit Matt’s G-Pop and Gran, we went to the Aotea Square Markets and I got spoilt a little.
These are my two new possessions, from a cool and super-friendly, not to mention very talented, NZ designer Misty (didn’t catch her last name unfortunately…).
There are so many talented and cool designers in NZ, and I wish I could afford to make my wardrobe consist of manly items made by them (as well as a healty and constantly updated selection of stuff from H&M of course…)
